Live in the Grace of Re-Solve Not the Un-solve of Anger & Blame
There has been a several week minuscule living-challenge taking place in my life having to do with my housemate.
Nothing major. One of those pet peeve things.
Each time I saw the pet peeve annoyance-inducing item in the room I wanted to confront the person’s choice and say something about it. Then, I would stop and ask myself if I wanted to make something of it. A part of me would say, “Boy, do I ever!” Knowing the power of forgiveness I would forgive myself for wanting to do this and the feelings of irritation would diminish.
Not totally though. Evidently there was more to this than I had thought.
Yesterday, once more, while in the presence of the irritant, my wanting-to-say-something-about-it popped up. This time instead of asking myself if I wanted to make an issue about it, I had a flash of insight. Why not place myself – stand in – and take ownership of the already resolved/re-solved situation? I immediately affirmed such and instantly felt myself living in the re-solve of the issue. Throughout the day each time I was in the room of the object, instead of feeling irate, I chose to feel myself being in the re-solve of it and went on with what I had come into the room to do.
Within 24 hours, the issue was resolved by the housemate. I never had to take confrontive action. All because I centered myself and occupied the re-solve of it instead of the anger, blame, and judging of the un-solve. I am now celebrating and enjoying the victory of the situation, instead of grumbling, griping, and being affronted by it.
It was so easy.
How about you? Are you ready to experience the ease created by living in the grace of the re-solve? If so, choose a life issue and claim and take ownership of the re-solve of it. Then . . . please tell me about it. I’m all ears!
And . . . I thanked the pet-peeve for teaching me to live in the re-solve instead of the un-solve. It was such a gift!
